wild beasts.

boy 8-bit from the united kingdom has already remixed the likes of arthur baker, armand van helden and acid jacks. he combines todays electro with retro video game elements for his very own trademark sound and also plays bass and guitar in everyone's favorite new uk band the black ghosts. after i came across his unique mix sets over on his podomatic site that include a lot of video game and obscure (horror) movie references, i badly wanted a track from boy 8-bit and finally it is here - already played on heavy rotation by kissy sellout, drop the lime and the loose cannons, unleash 'wild beasts' on the dancefloor, roar!

boy 8-bit - wild beasts (EXCLUSIVE)
boy 8-bit mixes on podomatic

this probably turns discodust into the official the bloody beetroots fanclub blog but what can i do, these crazy italians won't stop dropping the heavy bangers. since i have posted 'ezekiel eats red hoodie', they've finished three new remixes and this is the place where you can get all of them. remixing the whip and their own bob rifo, these tracks should finally make clear they are playing in the very first league. hoping to meet you this summer, bob and tea!

the whip - muzzle no. 1 (the bloody beetroots remix)
the whip - trash (the bloody beetroots remix)
bob rifo - kinky malinki (the bloody beetroots remix)

another discodust regular, one of my favorite germans, malente, hooked me up with a special edit of his latest single 'thismanrox'. as you have probably already read over at discobelle, he wants you to remix the track and you can grab the three sample packs here, here and there. the official release will be out on luscious sounds in may.

manrox - thismanrox (web edit)

for even more malente greatness, also check out two of his most recent remixes for bleach eatin pimps and shout out out out out, get ready for pumping electro house all the way:

bleach eatin pimps - c.u. next tuesday (malente remix)
shout out out out out - self loathing rules (malente remix)

on a sidenote: i am looking for some support, as in co-editors, a css/xhtml wizard and a new place to host discodust. if you want to be a part of this and help me out, send me a mail to discodust69@googlemail.com or contact me on discodust myspace.

I have no idea about the Sweden thing?.. Please enlighten me!

If anything it came from the Italian exploitation movie 'Wild Beasts', and some stock animal samples I had on my hard drive ..

Cheers,

Boy 8-Bit
