first off, the phantom's revenge takes a stab at reworking a track for division kent. he kept the breathy, glass candy-esque vocals and chop chop chopped away at the beat. no, it's not your cd skipping.

The only reason everyone is hating on Louis is because he's young and he started off with a bang... it didn't take him years of practice before he finally made a decent song. He was in the game the second he set foot in the door. Also, he really does capture the French sound better than most French djs.

ReplyDeleteHe also just copied the style EXACTLY which is now 10yrs old and without a change,something which the real thomas bangalter wouldn't do. There's nostalgia and then there is lack of originality. I suppose this is a little similar for the same reasons except i gotta say the sample/s are cooler. But i really think its the thomas bangalter thing that really annoyed me about Louis LaRouch(also a fake french name) along with the strait out jack house hats were kinda lame.

missing tons of elements. And if you cant see that, I suggest you go study more french touch before making such a claim.
Other then that, the music is good, but the formula they use gets pretty repetitive in an annoying way.
