snoop dogg.

we interrupt this program for a special announcement: snoop dogg obviously just decided to bring dubstep to the very last corners of the world, the 'slumdog millionaire' inspired 'snoop dogg millionaire' leaked this morning which has got him rapping over the dubstep anthem-turned crossover banger 'eastern jam' by chase and status. and guess what, i am actually really digging this.

snoop dogg - snoop dogg millionaire (on zshare)
snoop dogg - snoop dogg millionaire (on megaupload)

throw your money in the air and watch out for dubstep seriously taking over this year! props to mad decent (who else?) for getting this up first!

  7. Rather than dubstep seriously taking over this year, my bet is on snoop being a tad late on the game.

I dont find the song appeasing enough for the mass market. I doubt he'll bring in new dubstep converts, let alone a dubstep revival.

  8. revival? this kind of dubstep is just getting started. i mean this sounds nothing but burial (who accidentally became the most well known 'dubstep' artist back then) or anything.

but yeah, let's see what the masses say. i heard a lot of people saying they love it today though!

  9. I dunno, just not feelin it. I'll give it some more listens, but never could get into dub step. Keep up the good work Aleks, Disco Dust is by far the best one out there right now. When will we get some new Moulinex??

  10. plain just awful i love easter jam nd snoop... someone just mashed this up. if chase and statur worked with noop and actually wrote a beat for his sone it would be epic this is just a snoop and chase rehash mashed together..

  11. sounds ok to me. diplo is working with lil jon. everyone loves the e40 + mstrkrft mix

dance music is breaking ALL the race boundaries

  12. Regardless whether or not you like the song, don't get pissed at Discodust for posting it. Snoop rapping over dubstep is clearly blog worthy. Plus that track is genius.

  13. I dunno what dance music and racial barriers has to do w/ anything. XD

And just because someone doesn't like this song doesn't mean they're not loving 99% of Disco Dust stuff. ATB, MSTRKRFT w/ N.O.R.E. was alright, but this is not "genius".

  17. LOL. Leave it to snoop to enforce his style on another genre. ATTN all snoop fans: he's headlining the rock-dominated concert Wingstock. Why? I don't know. but i think he's taking over.
